I’m often asked about bras for smaller backs & bigger boobs and, obviously, I can’t review these styles for you so I decided to call on Fairy BoobSister Ana for some help! Ana has a wealth of knowledge from a customer perspective and you’re in safe hands with her so read on….
When Linzi asked me to do a guest review I didn’t have to look much further for inspiration than my brand new cobalt blue Curvy Kate Tease set.
I have quite full boobs, and usually wear a 30GG in Curvy Kate plunge styles, but as this is a balcony and creates quite a lot of lift I sized up to a 30H. The bra is lightly padded, so gives a fantastic shape which I think would especially suit those who tend to have less volume in the top of their bust. The fit is good, no gaping and the band feels snug but not tight. I’m absolutely glad I went for a cup size bigger, as there was no overspill or bulging. I totally love the look of this bra, the ribbon detail around the top of the cup and the contrasting lace detail on the cup itself make Tease a perfect choice when I want to wear something sexy but want to stay comfortable.
I opted for the thong rather than the shorties to go with the bra, and as I’m a size 10/12 I went for the 12 for comfort, which I felt came up true to size. I have quite fleshy hips but they don’t cut in or give me the look of having 4 hips instead of two! Looks-wise the thong is gorgeous, with the ribbon detail across the waistband and has a really nice ruffle which keeps in the flirty, sexy theme of the set. The shorties come with removable suspenders, which I think is another fab detail.
I love that I have a bra that I can wear all day but that is still sexy and flirty, I may be at work in my uniform but I’m a femme fatale underneath!
