I got my first “Cate” bra when I was pregnant and if I’m honest I wasn’t overly taken with the look of it, I thought it looked too full coverage, not sexy or stylish but as soon as I put it on I was swayed.
It is full coverage, it isn’t meant to be sexy but Oh my days it is so comfortable and supportive.
So when I saw the colour for this season – Hot Pink! I just knew I had to have it. The
shape, as mentioned is a full cup with 3 parts and side support panel to give a very lifted shape with separation of the breast and full support. the upper section has a flat art deco design on it and the rest of the cup is a smooth satiny fabric which makes this bra very good under fitted clothing as it barely shows. The straps are wide and whilst this could be a negative for some, for me it’s always a positive as I know they wont dig in with the weight of my boobs.
The style and shape of this set feels quite retro to me and I really enjoy the classic design including the cut of the briefs which again are full in shape, come up quite high on my torso and have the same glossy finish to them as the bra.
Overall, no Cate isn’t your “Hello Boys” super sexy set, it doesn’t pretend to be nor does it need to be. It is a comfortable set with incredible design to keep those boobs exactly where they should be, no bouncing, no spilling and certainly no aching! An old faithful that is going to be worn time after time, a bit like my favourite pair of slippers – except on my boobs.
Cate come in cups DD-K and bands 36 – 46 (let’s just take a minute to applaud that size range) with briefs in a M-4XL. I was got this set from Lazeme and you can use LOVEFBM to get 10% OFF this set (or anything else your heart desires)
